Mit bewölktem Himmel und Regen sind wir Montagmorgen in Port Canaveral angekommen. Da das Wetter noch nicht ganz mitgespielt hat, haben wir zunächst einmal das Schiff erkundet: 2 Pools auf dem Deck, Casino, Fitness Studio, Kletterwand, Theater, Kino, zahlreiche Bars, Shops, Restaurants und und und... das Ding war einfach riesig! Unsere Kabinen waren zwar klein aber fein - 2 mal täglich kam der Zimmerservice und hat alles wieder hergerichtet. Am Dienstag sollten wir eigentlich in Coco Cay - einer kleinen Privatinsel anladen, mussten aber auf Grund der Wetterlage den Tag auf Donnerstag verschieben. Langweilig wurde der Tag an Bord aber nicht! Besonders das Entertainment Programm mit Mike dem "Cruise Director" war super!
Mittwoch waren wir dann in Nassau - der Hauptstadt der Bahamas. Auf Paradise Island haben wir uns das Atlantis Hotel Resort angesehen - ein riesen Luxus Hotel mit u.a. einer Wasserrutsche, bei der man durch eine Röhre in einem Becken mit Haien durchflitzt! Wahnsinn! Den Nachmittag haben wir dann am Strand mit Bahamas Mamas verbracht. In einer spektakulären Rettungsaktion mussten wir mit rund 8 Männer eine "etwas fettlaibigen" Frau aus dem Meer herausziehen, die wegen der starken Strömung nicht mehr von alleine zurück an den Strand konnte. Dabei hat sie mehr an Kleidung verloren, als dass es mir lieb war zu sehen.. Donnerstag war wirklich der Höhepunkt unserer Kreuzfahrt auf Coco Cay - so haben wir uns die Bahamas vorgestellt! Sonne pur, weißer Sand und kristallklares Meer. Nell und ich waren auch schnorcheln. In der Nähe von einem gesunkenen Propellerflugzeug war ein ganzer Schwarm von Fischen zu beobachten! Einfach herrlich! Meine Eltern haben auch jedoch eher erfolglos versucht zu schnorcheln...sehr lustig mit anzusehen übrigens! Freitagmorgen waren wir nach 4 super Tagen Kreuzfahrt wieder am Festland angekommen!
Am Montag gehts wieder zur Arbeit - die Budget Planung für 2008 läuft auch Hochtouren...heisst ich kann mich auf lange Abende in der Firma einrichten. Ende des Monats fliege ich dann für ein paar Tage nach Orlando, um mit den anderen Kollegen das Budget abzustimmen.

ich seh schon Hr.Diedenhofen, sie lassen es sich doch recht gut gehen, ja? Tja aber dafuer ist das Infojahr wohl da und schliesslich arbeitest du ab und an ja auch so richtig, hihi!!
